As you can see my son was having lots of fun. First, playing in the water. And then he was the chef making me food. Then he got on the phone to call another customer. And then the food on the bottom is what he made for the customer. He charged the customer $1500, and he said my order came to 87 cents! (Note: I know he needs a haircut!!! I just haven't had time to take him...)
I took my baby to kindergarten today!
Well today was a big day for our family. My son went to kindergarten today. I was dreading this all along. We walked there and he was crying the whole time. He didn't want to go and he was hot and he wanted water. (OK it was really hot and humid out...we hardly ever get humidity here.) So I felt bad that I like dragged him there. And then he got into the classroom and it was a whole different ball game. He took off and became independant. He started playing in the water and really liked all the new things he had at his fingers. He also got to meet the teacher that was my daughter's teacher 5 years ago. She said she couldn't believe he was already so old. He really liked the little centers they had...especially the kitchen center. He had to make me something to eat. It was so cute. He had on his little chefs hat and everything. I realized that he would be okay without me. He has been with me every moment...I was hoping he would embrace this.
I also got myself in a little pickle today at Go!Smell the Flowers site. They opened a can of worms over there. They just wanted to know if they should invest in a charity to donate to. Well all of us had other ideas. I am almost embarrased at my behavior over there (I said ALMOST) but sometimes when people pressure you to try do something good other things end up happening. Here is the post if you want to read my horrible comments. And even feel free to add your own...they encourage free speech over there....I tell them to rock on!
