Mom's Out There

I'm so sorry I haven't been around. I feel horrible.

I have some great mom stories to share, like how when my son went to Grade 1 it was way harder then I ever imagined it would be...

Or how I thought getting an arm sleeve tattoo would be a great idea...until it really really hurt on the top of my shoulder....

I am a Freelance Writer. I am always searching the net to find the next great site that I can find freelance design jobs at. Well, I was surfing around and I found this one...I can put up my profile and have people find me or I can search for a job and put a bid on what I want to work on. This is really helpful because even if I don't have any active bids I can still be called on to work in the freelance design workforce.

I have to tell you...I have found this awesome forum. It's called Freelancevenue. I have been a member there for months now. But now I want to share it with all of you! This a place where freelancers of any genre can find available freelance jobs. You can also exchange freelance advice with others there. It's a good site to find your next job at. I know I have talked many times to the admin at this site because they are actively involved in the discussions there. They care about who you are and what your concerns are. And you know what is the coolest??? They offer prizes. I won something already!! Go and check them out...everyone is so friendly there!

Well today has been a very crappy day. This morning at 3 AM the fire alarm went off in our building. I don't even really remember gathering everyone and leaving the apartment. We went outside and were greeted with SNOW!!! I can't say I have ever seen snow anywhere so late in May before. So because of that I am so tired. I have been kinda walking around like a zombie. All I want to do is crawl onto the couch and go to sleep. But since I am a Freelance Writer I have lots of work to do for people. That's what sucks about working at home for yourself...you know you just can't go lay on the couch for a nap if you want. My son and I fight over the computer all day so if he is watching TV then I can get my work done.
