Mom's Out There

My daughter has been such a handful lately...but she has been doing something that makes me laugh. She has a new saying. "That was random!"....It bugs me to the core. It reminds me of when that stupid saying, "Funky" came out! I was so stubborn and wouldn't even let anyone say it around me because I thought it was so dumb. Then one day...it just came out, "Mom, that is a funky smell!" I was probably referring to my baby brothers dirty diaper.

So, here I am about 15 years later, wondering when that day will happen. IF it will happen!

Since it is Canada Day I thought I would tell you some of my favorite Canadian things.

Tim Hortons- There is nothing like any of their donuts and Timbits. I really like the hot chocolate.

Smarties- I had a box yesterday. There is just something about them that makes everything alright.

Canadian Tire Money- You aren't Canadian if you don't have this kicking around. I know once a year I go looking in my house for it. (Our Canadian Tire store (which is like a hardware store) gives you its own money back on a percentage of what you buy. You can only spend it in the store like real money!)
