I'm Pulling My Hair OUT!

Monday, February 18, 2008

Do you ever get one of these days? This is how I feel today! I am so stressed and it's all because of my computer. First, I wake up at 4:30 in the morning. And today was a holiday too!

Alberta is the only province in Canada to have a holiday today...Family Day. And I had a blazing headache from the weather changing...gotta love those Chinook's!! A Chinook is when the weather changes to really warm. It can change like up to 20 degrees in a day!

So that's all cool...but then I go to sign onto my website. The only problem it isn't even there. It just disappeared! I have been talking to Les from My Radical Blogs...who has been a huge help to me! And he has been trying to get me back online. The only problem is he is in Australia and I am in Canada.

The last update he had for me was that someone had corrupted my files. Now why would anyone want to break into my blog and ruin it? It looks like I may have to start from scratch...and all I can think of is how I didn't back up. All my Heath Ledger stuff is what I am really upset about. Blogging about him really helped me.

But I work for another celebrity site Backseat Cuddler and I did an amazing amount of work over there today. I was lost without my Taylor's Entertainment News. :( I am kinda staying up to see what is happening...but sooner or later...I"m going to have to leave.

Thanks for being here for me while I ranted...

Getting to Know the real Taylor

Friday, November 2, 2007

Some bloggers are really honest in their blogs. It becomes a different life in here. Something that you love to share. Words can only say so much so what if we could get the chance to know them even better?

Please take a moment to tell my readers about me (I love it when people talk about me)- the Taylor Blue that many of them know only from what I write. Do you good gossip about me? A story to tell? Thoughts to pass on? Also, is there some post that stuck with you long after you left? If so, please leave a comment.

If you would like to do this go ahead. Just be sure to tell me because I would love to tell you what I remember about you...

Thanks Tish for the cool idea....it all started with her....

Now, how about telling my readers all about me?

Who is this woman?? (I had to share this!)

Monday, October 29, 2007

Even though this lady is residing in MY house, she may at some time appear in yours. Be Alert! A very weird thing has happened. A strange old lady has moved into my house. I have no idea who she is, where she came from, or how she got in. I certainly did not invite her. All I know is one day she wasn't there, and the next day she was!

She is a clever old lady and manages to keep out of sight for the most part, but whenever I pass a mirror, I catch a glimpse of her. And, whenever I look in the mirror to check my appearance, there she is hogging the whole thing, obliterating my gorgeous face and body. This is Very Rude! I have tried screaming at her, but she just screams back.

The least she could do is offer to pay part of the rent, but no. Every once in a while, I find a dollar bill stuck in a coat pocket, or some loose change under a sofa cushion, but it is not nearly enough.

I don't want to jump to conclusions, but I think she is stealing money from me. I go to the ATM and withdraw $100, and a few days later, it's all gone! I certainly don't spend money THAT fast, so I can only conclude the old lady is pilfering from me. You'd think she would spend some of that money to buy wrinkle cream.

And money isn't the only thing she is stealing. Food seems to disappear at an alarming rate - especially the good stuff like ice cream, cookies, and candy. She must have a real sweet tooth, but she'd better watch it, because she is really packing on the pounds. I suspect she realizes this, and to make herself feel better, she is tampering with my scales to make me think I am putting on weight too!

For an old lady, she is quite childish. She likes to play nasty games, like going into my closets when I'm not home and altering my clothes so they don't fit. And she messes with my files and papers so I can't find anything. This is particularly annoying since I am extremely neat and organized.

She has found imaginative ways to annoy me. She gets into my mail, newspapers, and magazines before I do and blurs the print so I can't read it. And, she has done something really sinister to the volume controls on my TV, radio, and telephone. Now, all I hear are mumbles and whispers.

She has done other things, like make my stairs steeper, my vacuum heavier and all the knobs and faucets are harder to turn. She even made my bed higher so that getting into and out of it is a real challenge. Lately, she has been fooling with my groceries before I put them away, applying glue to the lids, making it almost impossible for me to open the jars.

She has taken the fun out of shopping for clothes. When I try something on, she stands in front of the dressing room mirror and monopolizes it. She looks totally ridiculous in some of those outfits, plus, she keeps me from seeing how great they look on me.

Just when I thought she couldn't get any meaner, she proved me wrong. She came along when I went to get my picture taken for my driver's license, and just as the camera shutter clicked, she jumped in front of me!

I hope she never finds out where YOU live!

Hello!!!

Friday, October 26, 2007

I'm kinda down today...so it's time for a quiz...

You Should Be an Artist

You are incredibly creative, spontaneous, and unique.
No one can guess what you're going to do next, but it's usually something amazing.
You can't deal with routine, rules, or structure. You're easily bored.
As long as you are able to innovate and break the rules, you are extremely successful.

You do best when you:

- Can work by yourself
- Can express your personality in your work

You would also be a good journalist or actor.

What did yours say??? Come back and tell me!!

We have snow this morning!!

Thursday, October 25, 2007

Alberta has the craziest weather....let me show you....

Yesterday it was 23C...it was amazing...I was ready to take my shorts out if it wasn't for the fact I haven't shaved my legs I would have worn them...but then it started to get really windy. It was cool to hear all the leaves blowing around though.

When I was putting my son to bed...he told me that he was scared of the wind. I said don't be...that wind means its going to snow. I knew the sound of the wind but it was way to warm to have snow...so I told him anyways.

Well when we got up this morning...there was SNOW!! I couldn't believe it! But it will all be gone by the end of the day...

He broke my toe....

Tuesday, October 16, 2007

Yup, my son broke my toe. He was really really really hyper this morning and he was trying to rip an important piece of paper so I lunged at him and fell off my chair. It hit the metal part where my wheels on my chair are. And that was the end of that! It hurts so much. I have broken a toe before and there is NOTHING they can do for you. It is puffed up and feels like the stay puff marshmallow man!!!!

My son's hero is Criss Angel!

Monday, October 15, 2007

I am a huge fan of Criss Angel's. My family knows that too. I am always showing them the tricks that Criss reveals on his show. My son always is amazed when he sees I can pull one over on him. Today, my son was in the bath. He says look mom...I can walk on water...just like that guy. Well the only guy I know that can walk on water is Criss Angel.

My mouth dropped open. I said...you wanna be like Criss honey? He says...I wanna walk on water like him. I thought it was amazing that he had remembered who was the guy that he had seen walk on water. He just kept saying it over and over again. I thought it was cute.

That darn packaging kids toys are in...

Saturday, October 13, 2007

Okay, I hate to say it but sometimes I hate the holidays! I hate having to put together the toys that day on Christmas....and today reminded me of that. My son's birthday is in November and then we have Christmas and then my daughter's birthday is like a week after Christmas. We get used to a lot of presents around here and I have to get used to putting them all back together.

Today, we went to Toys R Us. My husband promised my son a toy...well you know you can't go in that store and not walk out anyway. There just happened to be a blowout sale that day too. It was so busy...I never saw so many screaming kids.

It took me a degree in engineering to put it together. Why??? Oh why do they make everything so hard to put together....grrrr.
Looks amazing doesn't it?? NOT!! Looks nice and cheap!

I got a funny letter in the mail today!

Friday, October 12, 2007

I love getting the mail!! I have always sat by my window waiting until the mail man came and then ran to my mailbox. I don't know why but I love getting something in a little box that is a surprise...may be that's what it is. Now usually my mail box is full but lately not so much...

Today though I got the funniest letter in the mail...well I hope you find it funny too...

So in Canada they have this program that they send a letter to you to remind you to go for your yearly...you know...But I really didn't need the reminder because here you can't get your prescription for your birth control renewed unless you have the yearly 'tests' done.

I have never been a fan of these...and I am sure you will all agree with me...especially the men...(cough) LOL...I guess it could be worse for us women. But I digress...so here's what the letter says.

"PAP tests can prevent almost all cervical cancer by finding changes in the cells on your cervix early enough to be treated and cured.

Our records indicate that your last PAP test was more than 12 months ago..."

Okay, but this is where it is funny...I HAVE NO CERVIX!!! I looked all over the place for the number so I could call them and tell them to stop sending them to me... but I couldn't. So now every time I read this letter it is going to say...do you want cervical cancer?? If not get your butt to the doc's...I can't handle the pressure.

Will I tell them or will you??? LOL

Oh joy it's Thursday!!

Thursday, October 11, 2007

I started a new job today. It is taking up all my online time and the pay isn't that good for the time its taking up. So I thought I would come and say hi to have a bit of a break before I go insane.

I went to the kitchen and I was thinking...why does our house go through so much milk and ketchup. I swear those are the things that go so fast!! It seems like every day I am out getting milk and we started buying our ketchup at Costco. It seems to last a bit longer. We so love that place.

I got some sleep last night and so did my son. But my husband complained that he couldn't sleep. I couldn't tell either way because I actually had a peaceful sleep without the kitten waking me up kissing my face! That is always a good sign. I wake up in the middle of the night and because I sleep on the couch (I'll save that story for another day) Milo can get to me. He kisses and kisses me. I am finally relaxing and letting him do it or else he just persists for hours!! So how is your day?

My crazy day...

Wednesday, October 10, 2007

I am having a crazy day today! I got up at 5:30 am! Which is way too early to begin with! My son was coughing. He wakes up every morning like that lately and I can't figure it out. Anyways right away he takes me into the kitchen...I'm hungry mommy. I can't even open my eyes yet...and this morning I feel a cold coming on. I was up all night...going to the bathroom every 2 hours or at least it seemed that way. (No, I'm not pregnant...don't have those pieces anymore!) But there I was pouring Froot Loops into a bowl that I could hardly see. I just went right back to the couch and layed down while my son watched his cartoons and ate his cereal...

But after a bit...he says to me again...Mommy I'm hungry....(Yes...he loves to eat!) So there I am again in the kitchen squinting my eyes unable to even see the counter never mind find what he wants. I just tell him...go bug your sister. I go lay down and fall back asleep almost instantly. I can hear my kids in the background playing and that is all I need to hear to convince myself a nap is what I need. I sure needed more than that for later that is for sure.

My son has a lot of energy. How??? I wish I knew. He just started kindergarten this year and he hates it when he isn't at school. He gets bored so easily. I have gotten in the habit of having lazy days because some day I will have to enter the work force outside my home again. Right now I work at home, it's been good to be able to earn the extra money because right now we need it. But when my son starts grade 1, I know my life will be different.

I have convinced him to play his video games instead of throwing all my books around. I really hate that when he does that! But what can I say?? I'm a home mom...that has a job at home!

A cool heartwarming Story!

Friday, September 14, 2007

I found this wonderful story and I had to share with everyone!

The 12-week-old macaque was rescued on Neilingding Island, in Goangdong Province, China, after being abandoned by his mother.

Taken to an animal hospital, he was weaned back to physical health but still showed little appetite for life.

It was not until a fellow patient, a white pigeon, took him under her wing and showed him love and affection that he perked up.

Now the two are inseparable, say staff.

They are not the first odd couple. In March, we told how a tiger cub in China was being raised by a sow along with her piglets because his mother didn't know how to feed him.

And in 2005 Mi-Lu the baby deer became best friends with lurcher Geoffrey at the Knowsley Animal Park, in Merseyside, after being rejected by her mother.

Also Gilberts picture is in a photo contest...I would love if you voted for him! Just click on the link...thanks....

Holy cow I have been busy...

Friday, September 7, 2007

Sorry, I haven't been around. I have been going crazy getting Ty off to school. And there is that little matter of - well the Trojan Horse on my computer. My husband is going to literally kill me when he finds out. I had them do a sweep and they found it (spysweeper) but I can't afford a subscription. But then I remembered that we get all that free with the company we get the internet from. So I'm like okay...I can fix this. So I get that ready to be installed but of course...it's not compatible with Vista! Like OMG they sell you this computer and they know that we have Windows Vista on here and then they say that you get this ecare for free. I am soooo upset thinking about it. To top it off its a remote Trojan Horse...they can get into my computer anytime. That is why I don't do my banking on here...and no amount of money sits in my Paypal account.

My day has kinda been going like this all day. I go to the grocery store by myself and they overcharge me $4 for my cereal. Then I go to the library and some lady just pulls my son off the pre-school computer because she wanted her son to go on. Then...I go to go home. It's really cold out today (10C) and we were waiting a half an hour for a bus and the bus just goes by us. That totally ticked me off. I am having such a bad day!

I wonder what is going to happen next!

Happy Labor Day....YAY!!!

Monday, September 3, 2007

It's Labor Day again. It's crazy to think that tomorrow the kids will be going to school. Both of them. Ty won't be in a normal schedule till next week so it will be kinda crazy. I go bring him to the school and stay there and then he goes for his half day Wednesday and then no school Thursday and then his normal two hours on Friday. Very busy and very confusing.

You know I was thinking last night...I know a very dangerous thought for everyone...me thinking. But anyways....I saw this washcloth in there and it looks like it has soap scum on it...but I didn't really want to know and I didn't want to put in the laundry...so guess what I did! I threw it away! I find I do that a lot. I am really anal about some things. I don't want my dirty bacteria infested cloths with my clothes. So you are asking yourself...why doesn't she do them in a different load? I know that is a really good idea but let me tell you this. It is a toonie ($2 coins) for a load of laundry...and then it takes 2 toonies ($2 coins) to dry them. Now that is $6...do I just throw it away or waste $6 to do it?? I would just throw it away. I did that for my son and whenever he puked really bad on blankets or recieving blankets I would just throw them away. We share a washer and dryer with 11 other apartments so I don't want it to get gross in there!

Now that I have told you about my anal obsession...do you really think I am weird?

Hello...

Saturday, September 1, 2007

Today has been a long day. We had got a new cat that looked exactly like Gilbert but he was brutal. He would keep meowing and hissing and attack us all. I didn't like that situation with our baby Belle kitty and the kids. That's all we need is that the kids get attacked by this cat. He looked like he was abused before. The place we got this cat was from someone that said it was a stray. But he didn't act like it. He sure was upset to be with us and near us! We ended up bringing him away.

But now my husband called to get a kitten. This way we can train it the way we want. We get to go pick up the furry thing after supper. I will post pictures may be tomorrow. Poor Belle is growling at us now! We didn't even do anything to her! But I really do miss Gilbert. He used to sleep with me every night and now Belle sleeps with my husband. That leaves me kittenless. :(

Here's a cool quiz to leave you with. Remember to come back and tell me what carnival ride you are!

You Are a Log Ride

You prefer to live a fairly calm, relaxed life... with a few surprises thrown in.
You don't tend to get yourself worked up easily. You can roll with what life throws at you.
In relationships, you are steady and solid. You maintain a pretty broad perspective on what's going on.
That's not to say you can't get swept away. You're emotions run as deep as anyone else's.

Your life seems like it has been remarkably easy so far. But that's due to how you manage it.
You never stretch yourself too thinly, and you think out your decisions carefully.
Taking the time to enjoy each day is important to you, and you don't let your emotions rule you.
You stay the course and do what's right... knowing it will all work out in the end.

At your best, you are tolerant and understanding of other people's quirks.
You take "go with the flow" to the extreme. Even if you don't like where you're going.
At your worst, you repress your feelings and end up being a little tightly wound.
You definitely have some explosive emotions that occasionally come to the surface!

I HAVE NEWS FINALLY!!!

Monday, August 27, 2007

Well, the crisis is over! It was all a dumb misunderstanding. Someone called Children's Aid on us. They said something that was totally untrue about my husband. They talked to the kids alone and then said, We are good here. They are going to talk to my husband on Wednesday and then close the case. I found out about it on Wednesday night but didn't know the reason until today. It was stressful wondering what it could be! But now I am going to keep our family to ourselves because I swear someone is out to get us! Thanks for all your prayers and nice words. I couldn't have done this without you!
