Mom's Out There

I really need to stop eating cheese before I go to bed. I thought it was a really good snack choice on my part....but I WAS WAY WRONG! I have such weird dreams when I eat cheese before I go to bed. And last night wasn't an exception.

There were people chasing me with guns, I was getting mad at people for not telling me phone numbers and I even was swimming to catch forks in a pond for fun!! There was some cool parts! I lived on the beach and I thought the scenery at night was awesome.

So, tonight, I need to tell myself...NO EATING CHEESE BEFORE BEDTIME!! Do you have anything like that that happens to you?

I spent a lot of time over at MySpace yesterday...don't know why...LOL....




Well, actually I do...Hee hee...I found Milo Ventimiglia's myspace page...and there he had a blog post about how he got to fly in a F16 (Click to see the clip). He has always wanted to fly in one and finally got the chance. He was going to join the Air Force back in the day but decided to act instead...thank god. If he didn't I wouldn't be able to drool over him every week!!

But it's made me want to tell you my story...actually it's a little like his!! Which is really weird.

I watched Top Gun when I was a kid....it came out when I was like 11. I remember watching it over and over. I loved the sound that the planes made...(and I still do...I hear planes flying everyday...we live in a flight path...sometimes they get so low and our windows start rattling!!!)...but anyways. I really wanted to fly those planes! My dad brought me to air shows and my passion for planes just became worse. So finally in Grade 8 I made the decision, I would join the Air Force and learn how to fly those planes. I talked to my stepuncle who was in the Navy and he said that because I was a girl I would never fly in combat. (That was a LONG time agO!!!) I was mad at that...why would I learn to fly those planes and never get to use them?? So I decided to not go through with it....

I think about sometimes how I should have went through with it...it would be amazing to sit in those planes and fly...fly FAST!!!

I was just going about my day today when this thing on what my dream on celebrity appearances ended up in my mail box. I totally forgot all about the dream I had last night about Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise and Suri. Katie Holmes was giving me money to help with child care. Now that really is a dream. And Suri was just talking up a storm. I didn't think about it until I was going through my emails. And there was the dream decoder I get sent to me everyday and today they are right on the money! What are the chances....so now you can read about what my celebrity dream meant....

Dream about Celebrity Appearances
As the media continues to create stronger icon status for people in the news, it is not surprising that lay people are dreaming of them as well. It is not at all unusual for people to think they know particular public figures and so to experience them in a dream. Dreaming of any particular celebrity often reveals a fantasy for friendship or romance. These dreams may also show a sense of being a peer or equal to that celebrity as if to say, I can do that, too. A second aspect of this phenomenon is living vicariously through a celebrity. In this instance, people will assume a peculiar sense of participation with a public figure's success and notoriety.
Another variation of this is becoming a celebrity yourself. This may include performing with other celebrities while achieving your own icon status. This kind of notoriety may be showing you your own giftedness (or sense thereof) in a particular area, or it may be intended to encourage you to pursue a higher ambition for yourself.

Of course, because today's media completely inundates the public with images and rumors of celebrities, they may appear in your dream simply as extraneous static.
